Paperless work, cashless shopping, borderless communication... The world we live in is undergoing great changes. The ubiquitous phenomenon of immersive communication makes us rethink the media, redefine the relationship between people and media, and rethink the survival of human beings.
In 2012, in his monograph Immersive Communication: Communication Paradigm in the Third Media Era, the author first proposed the concept of "Immersive Communication" and constructed it theoretically, which was widely accepted and adopted by the academia and industry. In recent years, the author has been exploring the path of "immersive communication" from theory to reality, and at the same time reviewing theory from reality.
