Facing the background of profound changes in the 21century, Chairman Xi Jinping innovatively proposed the strategic thinking of building a community with a shared future for mankind. The “the Belt and Road Initiative” （B&R）has become a new platform for deepening exchanges and cooperation between China and neighboring countries in the economic, trade, and cultural fields.

With the steady progress of the Belt and Road Initiative, China has made great achievements in the process of foreign cooperation and exchanges. To greet the 8th anniversary of the B&R, the National Communication Strategy Research Center at Renmin University of China has launched a call for photographs on the theme of the B&R. We are calling for excellent photographs that record the cooperation and exchanges of the B&R, including the fields of economy, science and technology, culture, tourism, archaeology, etc. The individual's feelings about the Belt and Road Initiative is the focus of this event.

Notes for Contributions

1. The submitted works are not limited to shooting tools, and works with cameras and mobile phones can be submitted. The creation time of the submitted works is not limited. Single images, group photos, thematic, color, black and white photos, etc. are all acceptable.

2. Contributors must ensure that they have independent and complete intellectual property rights for their submitted works; Contributors should also ensure that the works they submit do not infringe the legal rights and interests of any third party, including copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, and privacy rights. If the submitted works involve copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights or other legal disputes, the contributor is solely responsible for it.

3. Please submit photographic works in JPG format in the form of e-mail, and indicate "submission of photographs on the subject of the B&R " in the subject of the mail. Each photo can be accompanied by a certain description of the work, such as the shooting time, location, and the background of humanities and history, etc. to introduce the photos.
