Class of 2003 graduates return to School of Journalism and Communication to commemorate 20th anniver

RUC alumni, Class of 2003 graduates of School of Journalism and Communication, gathered together at the school to commemorate the 20th anniversary of college admission on Aug. 24, accompanied by Professor Tu Guangjin, the retired professor of RUC journalism school, Professor Luo Jianhui and Professor Hu Baijing, head teachers of Class of 2003.

The alumni and professors looked back with nostalgia to the good old days, spent precious bonding time with each other and talked about the development of the school.

Professor Hu Baijing introduced the history and changes of RUC School of Journalism and Communication and discussed with the alumni about students cultivation, academic researches and international exchanges. Alumni from all walks of life offered advices on further developing Journalism School and looked forwards to the new era of their Alma Mater.

Class of 2003 graduates, the last batch of college students in the 20th century, are in their late thirties and are active in all walks of life, including media industry, government departments, education field, and internet companies. Inheriting RUC’s motto of “seek truth from facts”, they have become the backbones of their relative industries and are contributing themselves to China’s development and national rejuvenation.
